ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY OF JOINT STOK COMPANY «MOGILEV METALLURGICAL WORKS»
The main goal of joint stok company «Mogilev metallurgical works» in the field of environmental protection is to produce products that meet the requirements of customers, while ensuring minimal environmental impact.
The goal is achieved by:
- ensuring environmental safety in accordance with legislative, regulatory and social requirements;
- introduction of modern technologies and modernization of existing production processes, providing for the reduction of harmful effects on the environment;
- striving for the reuse of production waste, identifying recyclable materials among the generated waste and transferring it for preparation for use by other organizations;
- use of advanced technologies and equipment to prevent pollution of the atmosphere, water and soil, contributing to the continuous reduction of the impact of production on the environment;
- improving the system of local monitoring and analytical control of all types of environmental impacts to improve the efficiency of environmental protection measures;
- availability of the results of the Company's environmental activities and cooperation with all stakeholders;
- increasing the level of knowledge of the Company's personnel in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, increasing the sense of responsibility for the state of the environment among employees at all levels.
Management of JST «ММW» undertakes the following obligations:
- consistently follow this Policy;
- maintain the environmental management system in full compliance with the requirements of STB ISO 14001-2017;
- encourage employees and divisions of the company taking an active, effective part in the environmental activities of the Company.
